Blue Pear Penge

Our setting in Penge is managed by owner and Early Years Teacher, Natasha, and Deputy Manager, Sarah, who together have over 20 years experience working with children and in early years settings. 

Located on Maple Road, Blue Pear Penge is a 40 place nursery with three dedicated children's rooms including an intimate babies room for our youngest children (3mths - 2yrs), and spacious Toddler (2-3 yrs) and Pre-School (3-5 yrs) rooms for our older children. There is free parking outside the nursery and a secure entry system. We are near to Penge East and Anerley train stations. 

The prime location enables children to access local amenities such as the local park and library which form part of our daily planned activities. A variety of outdoor learning opportunities has served to enhance understanding of the world, communication and language and other areas of learning and development such as road safety and how to keep safe when we are outside. We also incorporate forest school principles as part of planned outdoor learning to support learner inspired curiosity of the natural environment. 

A rich and broad curriculum is offered at our settings, covering key areas of learning and development. Both of our settings also offer extra curricular activities. At Penge we provide weekly tennis sessions delivered by a trained tennis coach, and musical Spanish sessions delivered by a teacher,  inclusive of fees.
